Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Western countries that the war will not stop at Ukraine - and an attack on freedoms there will affect the rest of the world.ĭuring an interview on ABC World News Tonight with David Muir on Monday, Zelensky again highlighted the need to secure Ukraine's airspace - something he has urged the US and NATO to help do, to no avail. The hotline, called "Come Back From Ukraine Alive," was established by the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, which has acknowledged that the initiative is both a humanitarian and a propaganda tool. Videos have appeared online since the invasion began on February 24 showing Ukrainian civilians and soldiers allowing Russian soldiers to call home and speak with their parents. The recordings indicate that many Russian soldiers seemed to not have known what their plans were or why they were being deployed, and bolster reports of Russian soldiers being denied communication with their families. In recordings shared exclusively with CNN by the Ukrainian officials operating the hotline, the desperation and uncertainty in the callers' voices sheds light on how tightly Moscow is controlling communications about the war. The shaky voices at the end of the line are not calling to search for Ukrainians, however - they are looking for information on Russian soldiers. Mothers and fathers, wives, siblings and others are engaged in a desperate search for their loved ones as Russia's war with Ukraine extends seemingly without end. These are excerpts from audio recordings made to a Ukrainian government-run hotline. "Hello hotline, is this the place that you can find out if a person is alive?" "Do you have any information about my husband?" "Excuse me for disturbing you, I'm calling regarding my brother."

Regardless I learned some interesting stuff about WW1 mods out side of ROF on this thread, which I was not expecting so TY. That's why I love game forums, sometimes I and up answering my own questions, I learn things from other people and it causes me to do research. " onclick="window.open(this.href) return false ">

Because, it maybe one of those epic super mods later on down the road.Īlso found this mod for ARMA 2 "Over the Top", this one is def not complete yet (alpha), but it looks like its being built. So if this TGW mod is not all that good yet, it may be worth following and keeping tabs on. Again it looks like the TGW mod for NTW is a work in progress so, I will keep that in mind.

" onclick="window.open(this.href) return false "> … 008aad9ba2 This link below look interesting, looks like they are either working on or its already in game. To me it appears to be a work in progress type of super mod.

Thanks, got a chance to take a look at it, I'm going to download it and give it a shot. There you are : (TGW" onclick="window.open(this.href) return false "> … t-War-(TGW) Do you have a link to this mod? I just want to see it out of curiosity. Worth a try though, might look into this, early days yet so they mightn't have been able to impliment stuff like bullet drop yet, who knows… That and I found it so depressing playing it and the masses of artillery which would just pound infantry into dust. There's a mod for Napoleon Total War which tries to represent World War I, I personally am not a fan, whilst the sounds are realistic, they've still yet to make it feel like there is actual trench warfare.

I think something more following the Wargame series style would be more accurate and easy to move into for World War I. It would have to take place only during major offensive and defensive battles maybe. I bet it would almost have a post apocalyptic feel to it maybe. WW1 trench warfare was hell on earth, were much of the time it was a bloody stalemate.
It would be a hard game if you even want to call it a game lol
And devs who made it, wanted it to strive for historically accurate WW1 trench warfare as possible. Well say hypothetically they made a game to simulate using the ARMA engine, like Iron Front (WW2 Game on the eastern front).
